Description
Epiphyllum is a group of forest cacti that grow naturally on trees rather than in soil. They have broad, flat, leaf-like stems that trail or arch beautifully, making them ideal for hanging baskets. Unlike desert cacti, they prefer more humidity and filtered light.

- Colours: white, pink, red, orange, or bicolour depending on hybrid
- Flowers mainly in spring to summer (often night-blooming in some types)
Light Requirements
- Bright indirect light
- Morning sun is ideal

- Water more regularly than desert cacti
- Keep lightly moist in active growth (not soggy)

- Must not stay waterlogged
